Filip Sabol (1989) grew up in the graffiti community in Bratislava in 00s years, his work is based on the language of the city and the people living in it, in the current digital age. At a time when digital media are already fully available and easy, the digital world intertwines with the real world, creating a “glitch” that is absorbing human.

Sabol communicates the message through the pictorial language of the present, but formulates it in analogue handmade painting, in its materiality and imperfection. He uses the image as a display, which is a communication medium, a carrier of information, emits light and leads out of this “glitch”.
